At Source: HDD, we focus on supporting horizontal directional drilling contractors.
Our on-staff mechanics and operators have evaluated used rigs, mud mixing & delivery systems, vacuum & pothole systems, tooling systems, and locating equipment.
All equipment is inspected, repaired as necessary, fully serviced, and tested for complete functionality.
Role and Responsibilities: Provide routine maintenance, service, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of HDD equipment, trailers, and support vehicles.
This position requires previous experience with the repair of construction or agricultural equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, and engine repairs, pneumatic and electrical systems, as well as experience with hydraulic air brake repairs, chassis repairs, repair of general construction equipment, air compressors, etc.
Experienced working with both gasoline and diesel engines.
Qualifications and Education Requirements Must have at least 3 years of experience working as a mechanic with at least 1-year of experience repairing diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
Must provide own basic hand tools.
